Hi, I’m Christie — the maker behind Sweet Quilted Crafts.

My mother introduced me to quilting over 15 years ago while she was working on a baby quilt. She asked me if I wanted to try and said, “All you have to do is sew a straight line.” And just like that… I was hooked.

It wasn’t just the sewing — it was the magic of it. The fabrics, the patterns, the colors, the creative possibilities. I discovered that I could take a single pattern and transform it into something completely unique simply by changing the fabrics or turning a block in a new direction. Quilting became more than a hobby — it became my creative outlet.

Today, I create what I lovingly call functional fabric art — table runners, zipper pouches, little wallets, bowl cozies, and other quilted pieces designed to bring beauty into everyday life. I carefully choose quality fabrics that inspire me and pair them with patterns I truly enjoy making, so each piece feels both artistic and practical.

I believe everyday items should make you smile. Whether you’re pulling a wallet from your bag or setting the table with a quilted runner, my hope is that my work adds a small spark of joy to your day.

Sweet Quilted Crafts is proudly handmade in Texas, where I live with my husband, two boys, and our dogs — surrounded by family, friends, and plenty of fabric.
